The Record came with a glossy cardboard sleeve featuring four caricatures of Arthur Lowe as Captain Mainwaring.


The reverse of the sleeve came with instructions on how to use the Point Calculator distributed amongst staff of British Gas Showrooms during Autumn 1974 when aiming to meet their sales targets.

INSTRUCTIONS
This Special presentation record has been made exclusively for British Gas by "Captain Mainwaring" of the Warmington-On-Sea (sic) platoon, Home Guard.

British Gas have issued this record to you so that you can find out, in brief, the basic plan for the 1974 "Year of the Cooker" prize campaign.

You can play the disc, both sides of it, on any 33 r.p.m record player suitable for microgroove (L.P.) discs but - DON"T play it on top of any other record, DON'T use auto - change, use the manual control. And it would help if you had your PRIZE POINT CALCULATOR handy!

Captain Mainwaring gives one example of the use of your Prize Point Calculator; here it is again, with a couple more for you to try out... ...GOOD LUCK...GOOD CALCULATING...GOOD SELLING...and GOOD WINNING!!
