The Dad's Army Choir featured Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Clive Dunn, John Laurie, James Beck, Arnold Ridley, Ian Lavender and Bill Pertwee.

This rare single was the second of two singles released by Columbia Records in the early 1970's featuring the leading cast members of Dad's Army. Both songs written and produced by John Worth, encapsulated the vocal talents of the cast and make enjoyable listening.

"Down Our Way"
is performed in the style and tempo of Flanagan and Allen whilst "We Stood Alone" is a tribute to the characters of Walmington-on-Sea's Home Guard with solo parts for the 8 main characters, Mainwaring, Wilson, Jones. Frazer, Walker, Godfrey, Pike and Hodges.
