When it appears some of the platoons older members could be drafted into the ARP, they take precautions in looking younger.
43 A Soldiers Farewell

Mainwaring gives the platoon a lesson in courtesy. He also has a dream about Napoleon!
44 Getting the Bird

Walker acquires some off ration meat - pigeons and Wilson disappears! As Captain Mainwaring gets to the root of the problems he doesn't expect to find the answers at the Sunday morning Church service!
45 The Desperate Drive of Lance Corporal Jones

The platoon are on exercise, face the danger of being blown up in target practice. Only Jones & Godfrey can save them, that's if they're quick enough!

The platoon take on a camouflage disguise as firemen and find themselves putting out a real fire.
51 Brush with the Law

Someone has left the light on at the church hall, Hodges is after Mainwaring's blood and the only thing that can save the Captain in a court case is "honesty, truth and integrity", but first he has to convince the juror, which is lead by Captain Square!
52 Round and Round Went the Great Big Wheel
Broadcast: 22 December 1972

A top secret war weapon goes disastrously wrong and threatens the safety of Walmington on Sea. Only the Home Guard can save the day.
53 Time On My Hands
Broadcast: 29 December 1972

A German Parachutist becomes entangled on the Town Hall clock and it only becomes a matter of time before Mainwaring's platoon become marooned there too!
